Gama e tecnologia

Em março, o Mutirão da Gambiarra publicou um post sobre o trabalho de Jader Gama, 36 anos, na Casa Puraqué: A Escola de Codeirxs. Ontem, Hudson compartilhou na lista a publicação no UOL Tecnologia abordando o trabalho de Gama. Segue um trecho:

 

As pessoas pensam que é a tecnologia que transforma os territórios, mas são as pessoas e o que elas vão fazer com essa tecnologia que muda os lugares.

Durante essa semana Thiago Novaes circulou um texto esclarecendo a importância sobre o padrão aberto do rádio digital. Ainda dentro do mesmo contexto de liberdade nas redes, Cleber Gouvêa publicou um fragmento de uma das petições onlines da Avaaz, contra o cerco ao fim da privacidade na internet:

Empresas a quem confiamos nossas informações pessoais, como a Microsoft e Facebook, são os defensores principais desse projeto de lei que permite às corporações compartilharem todas as atividades e conteúdo de usuários com as agências do governo dos EUA -- anulando as garantias de privacidade para quase todas as pessoas ao redor do mundo, não importando onde essas pessoas vivem ou navegam online.

Iuri comentou sobre a necessidade que muitos aplicativos apresentam de revelarmos nossos passos:

Guarulhos sediará Festival Latino Americano de Instalação de Software Livre

O movimento de Software Livre, com o apoio da Prefeitura de Guarulhos, realizará no dia 28 de Abril de 2012 o Festival Latino Americano de Instalação de Software Livre (Flisol) Guarulhos e Alto Tietê. O Flisol contará com atividades como: oficinas, palestras, debates, além do laboratório de instalação de linux.

PUG-PE Summer of Code

Acontecerá no próximo dia 28 de abril, o HackyDay do Summer-of-Code, em Recife. O HackDay é terceiro evento promovido pelo Python User Group Pernambuco (PUG-PE), e conta com o apoio do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Pernambuco (IFPE).

A idéia é juntar uma galera que queira aprender a programar, que queira desenvolver ou até trocar idéias com o pessoal no local em variados projetos open-source.

 

 

Para participar basta comparecer no dia do evento, que será realizado no IFPE, a partir das 08 horas. A programação e outras informações estão disponíveis no site.
