Isaac compartilhou na lista mais uma experiência que teve com o Centro de Recondicionamento de Computadores do Recife (CRC):

 

Me chamaram para olhar um brinquedinho - que ainda não tem nome e nem pretensão. São apenas dois rádios que achamos e queremos arrumar algo para eles, estamos tentando fazer funcionar. Fizemos uns testes e ele tá transmitindo, com muito chiado. Postei na lista para ver se alguém tinha ideia de antena melhor. Eles estão usando duas antenas de 3 dbi, parecida com essa, que vieram de um decodificador de tv digital. Será que tá chiando por causa disso? Ainda não sabemos o que fazer com esses rádios, mas queremos brincar.

 

Isaac comentou que existe interesse em criar um tutorial para replicar o radinho.

Bolsa de Verão para Mulheres em NY

Em uma iniciativa casada, a Hacker School e a Esty anunciaram uma bolsa de estudos para mulheres que desenvolvam trabalhos de engenharia. São dez bolsas de 5 mil doláres cada uma para participarem do programa de Verão 2012, em Nova Iorque.

 

Esperamos que esse seja o primeiro de muitos passos para incentivar mais mulheres.
