Este texto é uma remixagem apressada de descrições curtas sobre Esporos e ConecTAZes da MetaReciclagem. Decidi fazê-lo para ter uma visão geral mais concreta das ações de MetaReciclagem, mesmo sabendo que não seria abrangente o suficiente.

Uma das maneiras de entender a MetaReciclagem é vê-la como uma rede distribuída de pessoas que compartilham uma prática, uma sensibilidade, uma metodologia. Essa metodologia diz respeito a um tipo de relação com a tecnologia que se baseia na desconstrução, reuso e re-significação, com o uso de software livre e o compartilhamento na rede dos aprendizados e descobertas resultantes.

O que significa distribuída? Que a MetaReciclagem não cresce a partir de um ponto central que vai se espalhando, mas a partir de projetos e pessoas em diferentes lugares que decidem voluntariamente adotar essa metodologia.

Os primórdios da MetaReciclagem

O projeto MetaReciclagem, como todos os demais projetos do Metáfora, surgiu na lista de discussão. Abaixo estamos fazendo um estudo da trajetória das discussões e idéias que levaram à concepção de um dos primeiros projetos de sucesso do Metáfora bem como o desenvolvimento de outros projetos relacionados.

O assunto sobre computadores reciclados teve início com um e-mail do Daniel Pádua falando sobre reutilizar máquinas para criar uma rede mais livre.

Chocadeira colaborativa

O objetivo do Projeto Metá:Fora era entender e desenvolver conhecimentos adequados a uma nova relação com a cultura interconectada a partir de comunidades locais e, visando fomentar a inclusão digital e o uso efetivo de ferramentas de publicação pessoal e construção coletiva de conhecimento.

MetáFora é uma inteligência coletiva. É ainda algo embrionário, um momento de ebulição ideológica, mas direcionada a ferramentar o cotidiano essencialmente online. E que nos obriga a unificar a comunicação com o desenvolvimento da tecnologia.

Assim, o Metá:Fora não é propriamente um projeto. Tornou- se o que chamamos de chocadeira colaborativa, aludindo à idéia de incubadora de empresas.

O Metá:Fora está subdividido em três:

  • Projetos individuais apoiados pelo grupo,
  • Projetos Coletivos e Abertos e
  • Projetos apoiados pelo grupo.

Os projetos estão sendo desenvolvidos através de uma interface completamente colaborativa. Uma ferramenta de wiki que permite a qualquer participante a interação com a comunidade, inclusive com a possibilidade de adicionar conteúdo e projetos.
