Marcelo Braz contou para lista metarec que foram (novamente) adiadas as definições das diretrizes para logistica reversa de eletroeletrônicos. E Hudson trouxe mais um programa da Prefeitura de Sorocaba tagueada como "Metareciclagem", mas sem nenhuma conexão com a rede (via email imprensa.sorocaba@gmail.com):

Metareciclagem abre inscrições para cursos de capacitação Jovens e adultos que desejam aprender ou se aprofundar nos conhecimentos sobre informática podem se inscrever nos cursos de Informática Básica e de Montagem e Manutenção de Micro, oferecidos pelo Projeto Metareciclagem. O candidato deve ter no mínimo 11 anos e a inscrição já pode ser feita diretamente na Avenida 9 de Julho, 1.066, na Vila Barão, das 8h às 11h30 e 13h às 16h. Informações (015) 3417.3825. Desenvolvido pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Relações do Trabalho (Sert), o Metareciclagem é destinado aos moradores do próprio bairro e comunidades vizinhas e, por esse motivo, não é fornecido vale-transporte. São 160 vagas para os cursos que acontecem nos períodos de manhã e tarde. As aulas serão na própria unidade do Metareciclagem e o preenchimento das vagas se dará por ordem de chegada.leia mais >>

Temos usinas que estão saindo da Europa e vindo para o Brasil, trazendo tecnologias já sucateadas lá fora.

Vale também construir uma sociedade civil mais ativa, instituições mais fortes e grupos "mão-na-massa" que gerem estudos de caso bacanas pra ajudar as pessoas como eu, que trabalham em organização de lobby popular, o MCCE, e outras, a mostrar o que queremos do mundo. Mas falta sintonia ainda entre todas essas peças do quebra-cabeça, e no meio do caminho ainda tem um montão de gente cretina que atrapalha a vida, seja empacando os processos e burocratizando ainda mais a chance de mudança, ou aumentando o preço dos alimentos no mundo pra ganhar mais uma grana, e assim matando um par de centena de milhares de crianças em algum lugar distante na África, ou no lixão de Gramacho.

Susana Serrano - sobre labs entre Brasil e Espanha

Susana Serrano é pesquisadora cultural e especialista em práticas artísticas que fazem uso social e criativo das novas tecnologias. Atualmente mora na Espanha, em Sevilha, e trabalha no CAS onde é  responsável pela área de comunicação. "Estou interessada nas práticas culturais e artísticas que usam a tecnologia de forma crítica e tenham princípios da cultura livre e software livre". Um dos links que indica, como exemplo, é o 10penkult projeto que apresentará na próxima semana em São Paulo. Susana veio ao Brasil para desenvolver pesquisas na Nuvem. "A Nuvem tem um funcionamento muito bom, orgânico e comprometido, localizada em um lugar de natureza exuberante, com tudo que você precisa pensar, criar e deixar sua imaginação fluir de formas imprevisíveis", comenta.
