Barulhos, silêncios, musicalidades

Fabi Borges troxe à lista o livro de Pedro Peixoto, sobre xamanismos e música eletrônica. Yupana Kernel  linkou uma monografia sob o título "Condições da Escuta: Mídias e Territórios Sonoros".

No silêncio, o sensível entra em contato com mais matéria do Atual, pois poucos códigos transitam de um meio a outro devido à sua velocidade ser quase nula. Há um presente que se estende, os códigos perduram, quase se tornando a totalidade do meio, monocórdico, tonal, total.

Em meio ao silêncio de outras percepções, Felipe Fonseca narrou no seu blog como foi o Encontrão em Ubatuba.

The Walker: vídeo experimental de Fabi Borges

Fabi Borges compartilhou na lista, o filme experimental The Walker. A proposta foi resultado de uma residência artística realizada, nos meses de setembro a novembro de 2011, no noroeste da Inglaterra por Ali khodr, Camila Mello e Fabiane Borges. A obra relata o ambiente que habitaram, a paisagem, rituais, performances, contadores de histórias locais, narrativas e captação de sons da floresta. Para isso, viveram por dois meses em um albergue localizado no meio da floresta e trabalharam com grupos de voluntários e uma escola primária do local.

 

O filme não contém nenhum dos nomes das pessoas, entidades, parcerias e apoios que o tornaram possível. Mesmo assim, sabemos que a realização desse experimento que não seria possível sem o envolvimento de todos, aos quais agradecemos. O processo de construção foi totalmente aberto, envolvendo várias pessoas da comunidade que se disponibilizaram a colaborar intensamente.

Angel no Bailux

Durante essa semana o Bailux/Aldeia Velha recebeu a visita de Angel e Gabriela. Angel tem 39 anos, se graduou jornalista, mas hoje renega o título:

Achei que ia ter uma boa formação em humanas, em redação, em filosofia, em história... rará! Valeram as amizades etílicas e as parcerias que me levaram a viajar fazendo vídeo, rádio, cinema e tv. Ajudei a fazer filmes históricos que venderam milhões de latas de cerveja, carros e papel higiênico. Eles sustentavam um quixotismo que ainda sonha com um povo livre através da democratização da comunicação contra a comunicação que vende, através de cerveja, carro e papel higiênico, sonhos pra quem eu achava que tinha sonho e nada mais.

Angel cresceu no ABC paulista, na época do auge das greves de metalúrgicos. Desde 2005, tenta somar as culturas populares brasileiras às tecnologias para registrar "saberes orais e sonoros, com a força das imagens em movimentos produzidas em computadores livres por questionadoras/es libertárias/os".
