Guima: nomadismos, hacklabs e metareciclagens

Guima, tem 23 anos, mas está na MetaReciclagem desde o começo da rede. Pesquisador autônomo de tecnologias, desenvolve projetos e oficinas de arte utilizando princípios de computação física, biotecnologia, software e hardware-livre. Ele concedeu uma entrevista para o MutGamb para contar sobre seu novo projeto o HackLeste.

 

Atualmente está desenvolvendo um HackLab, no SESC Belenzinho, em São Paulo: "O convite aconteceu através de um longo processo com oficinas de curta duração envolvendo tecnologias livres, na pegada Metareciclagem. Cultivando a descentralização do conhecimento, as formas e ramos de abordagem das pequenas oficinas de Arduino, Linux etc, demonstraram ter corpo para um espaço mais amplo de estudo".  Diferente da proposta de um HackerSpace, os Hacklabs são territórios nômades, afirma Guima: Nos encontramos duas vezes por semana (quarta e sexta) das 19 às 21hs. Começamos em março de 2012. Ficarei lá até Junho, mas a sala de internet-livre do SESC continuará oferecendo um espaço HackLab no próximo semestre também.

Alguns dias atrás, Fabs trouxe o texto Capitalismo, Movimento e a Grande Encruzilhada e seu comentário para a lista:

Nossa sociedade está viciada no capital. E aqui falo da sociedade como um todo, e não de tentativas individualizadas de não submissão ao capital. Nossa sociedade, sem visões separatistas, está, sim, viciada no lucro capital. E como todo vício, é preciso aceitar que se está viciado para poder então tratar de sua cura de maneira adequa. É o primeiro passo.

AdaCamp em Washington DC

Faz tempo que o MutGamb está linkando ações interessantes ligadas à mulheres e tecnologias. Dessa vez, divulgamos o AdaCamp que acontecerá entre os dias 10 a 12 de Julho em Washington, DC. O evento é focado na participação das mulheres na tecnologia e na cultura livres, mas o evento é aberto a pessoas de todos os gêneros e pretende atingir um público entre 150 a 200 pessoas.

 A ITU Telecom World 2012 acontecerá no mês de outubro, em Dubai, e está promovendo um concurso para jovens inovadores entre 18 a 25 anos, que trabalham com Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação em projetos sociais.

 

Os finalistas serão convidados para participarem da ITU Telecom World 2012, e podem receber uma premiação em dinheiro, além de orientações de negócios e workshops.
