VI Semana dos Povos Indígenas em Osasco

Do dia 13 a 22 de abril acontecerá, em Osasco, a VI Semana dos Povos Indígenas. O evento, compartilhado por Marcelo Braz, é promovido pela Prefeitura de Osasco e trará seminários, apresentações, exposições e comercialização de artesanato. Segue a programação:

Fabi Borges lançará hoje, na Pinacoteca Porto Alegre (POA), seu novo livro "Domínios do Demasiado". Fabi já fez um lançamento na semana passada (5 de abril) em Bagé e compartilhou algumas imagens.

O livro, que está disponível para download no Estúdio Livre, é descrito pela própria Fabi como:

Um convite à imersão nos domínios do demasiado, onde sobrevivem os gestos invisibilizados de uma multidão que não cessa de manifestar-se.
 

 

O que aborda seu livro?

Fabi: Trata de experiências com moradores de rua, arte coletiva, intervenção urbana, arte política,

coletivos de arte, processos artísticos e mídicos junto aos movimentos sociais como: MSTC, MTST, MST. O livro fala sobre mudanças de perceptivas e práticas esquizoanalistas, na real são as coisas que vivi durante o período que fiquei em São Paulo. Os Domínios do Demasiado são os lugares onde acontecem todos esses encontros e experiências.

O celular nosso de cada dia

Acontecerá quinta-feira, 12 de abril, às 20 horas, no CineClube Crisantempo a exibição do filme "Celular Manchado de Sangue". O filme traz a discussão a cerca do consumo, da extração de materiais para a fabriação de celulares e o que não é contado aos consumidores nas campanhas de marketing:

Amamos nossos celulares, mas a sua produção tem um lado obscuro. Nos últimos 15 anos, a guerra civil no Congo matou cerca de cinco milhões de pessoas. Por trás do conflito está a disputa de diversos grupos armados em torno da extração e comercialização de minérios preciosos utilizados na fabricação de telefones celulares. O cineasta Frank Poulsen confere in loco os bastidores dessa guerra e procura também fabricantes de celulares, como a Nokia, criticando-os por sua omissão.

O vídeo embedado neste post, foi compartilhado por Felipe Cabral, e conta a história de um estudante de Viena que teve um longo percursso ao processar o Facebook.

Um desdobramento que ilustra o comentário de Richard Stallman trazido à lista por Diogo Leal :

Facebook é um projeto de parasitismo internacional. Eu não sei os detalhes dos projetos de desenvolvimento por isso não vou tentar estimar o quão bom ele é. Mas é claro que eles poderiam ter feito isso de outra maneira. Em outras palavras, a questão de comparar o bem desses projetos contra os malefícios do Facebook surge porque alguém fez uma escolha fácil. Se as pessoas envolvidas se queixam e dizem, educadamente, "Eu vou ficar longe do Facebook ", da próxima vez eles vão pensar sobre a questão e eles o farão de alguma outra forma.
