Nuvem chama mulheres

A Estação Rural de Arte e Tecnologia, Nuvem, abriu uma chamada para ocupação do EncontrADA - corpo, feminismo e tecnologia livre que acontecerá entre os dias 04 e 06 de maio de 2012, no Vale do Pavão, Visconde de Mauá, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

A convocatória é direcionada à mulheres que praticam, pesquisam ou desejam estabelecer contato com temas relacionados ao ativismo feminista, a apropriação tecnológica feita pelas mulheres, ao uso do software e hardware livre, ao conhecimento e a reflexão sobre o seu próprio corpo. A ideia é unir gente de diferentes áreas de pensamento e atuação no Brasil para construir, por meio do encontro de experiências e saberes, uma rede de intercâmbio entre elas. Façamos prazerosamente nós mesmas!

Videoconferência Arte em Rede

Ivani Santana compartilhou o convite da Videoconferência ARTE em REDE: experiências entre Konic Thtr e GP Poéticas Tecnológicas, que acontecerá amanhã (16 de março), às 13 horas (horário de Brasília) presencialmente na sala 106 do CPD/UFBA e remotamente pelo site MapaD2. A iniciativa é do Grupo de Pesquisas Poéticas Tecnológicas, da Universidade Federal da Bahia, e do Konic Thtr, Espanha.

 

O objetivo é promover a reflexão sobre o uso das redes avançadas e da tecnologia para a produção de artes, especialmente criação de artes performativas. É uma iniciativa do Grupo de Pesquisa Poéticas Tecnológicas da Universidade Federal da Bahia em parceria com o Konic Thtr e suporte do i2Cat (Espanha), RNP (Brasil) e RedClara.

O encontro pretende compartilhar a experiência dos dois coletivos artísticos no desenvolvimento de performances em dança telemática, bem como promover um espaço reflexivo sobre o desafio da criação artística na Internet. leia mais >>

Festival Latino Americano de Instalação de Software Livre em Campinas

Acontecerá no dia 28 de Abril de 2012, das 09 às 17 horas, na PoliCamp, o  Festival Latino Americano de  Instalação de Software Livre (FLISOL).

 


 

As inscrições são gratuitas e podem ser feitas diretamente no site. O FLISOL ocorre em diversas cidades do Brasil e da América Latina, com o objetivo de promover o uso de Software Livre. Em Campinas, o FLISOL trará palestras, oficinas e workshops. Aqueles que tiverem interesse em participar do evento, podem acessar a página do FLISOL e realizerem seu cadastro gratuitamente. Já, os interessados em ministrar palestras/workshp podem acessar esse link e submeterem suas propostas.

Jarbas Jacome, do LabOca, compartilhou a participação do Jer Thorp para o TED que aconteceu no mês de novembro de 2011, em Vancouver. No vídeo a seguir, Thorp comenta sobre o Hipercard, programa computacional feito para os usuários criarem seus próprios programas.

Se pudéssemos mostrar aos criadores do computador que haveria um dia em que todo mundo teria seu próprio computador, mas que ninguém saberia programar, eles pensariam que somos loucos.

 

 

No sentido de "bricole você mesmo", Marcelo Braz compartilhou a possibilidade de metareciclar televisores da Samsung e blueray com players mais baratos, com smarthub, para rodarem linux(1,2).
