Apocalipse Silencioso

Lelex e Rafael Beznos trouxeram à lista MetaReciclagem a manifestação silenciosa organizada pelo Exército Zapatista de Libertação Nacional:

Enquanto o mundo brincava de apocalipse, os verdadeiros descendentes dos maias, vivos e reais, nos mandaram das montanhas de Chiapas uma importante mensagem, que surpreendeu o México hoje de manhã. Em diferentes municípios da região Sudeste, milhares de indígenas integrantes do Exército Zapatista de Libertação Nacional (EZLN) iniciaram o dia em grandes marchas por diferentes estradas e cidades. A manifestação, organizada até a véspera em sigilo, foi pacífica e surpreendentemente silenciosa. Em todas as marchas, o silêncio foi absoluto. Nenhuma palavra de ordem, nenhum cântico, nenhum grito de protesto. Ao final do dia finalmente foi divulgado um comunicado oficial do líder máximo do EZLN, Subcomandante Marcus, dizendo apenas: “Escutaram? É o som do mundo de vocês desmoronando. E do nosso ressurgindo”. Como sabemos, os maias nunca falaram em “fim do mundo” (tampouco jamais conceberam essa ideia). Ao contrário, em um gigantesco silêncio, nos disseram hoje que um mundo novo, uma nova era, está começando. E que os ideais zapatistas estão de volta.
