Em tempos de e-books e tablets, Marcelo Braz compartilhou um achado: o primeiro livro escrito em português sobre o Brasil: A Historia da prouincia sa[n]cta Cruz a qui vulgarme[n]te chamamos Brasil. O livro, de Pero de Magalhães de Gandauo, foi publicado em Lisboa, em 1576, na oficina de Antonio Gonsaluez.

 

Festival de Intervenções Artísticas do Recôncavo de 29/02 a 3/03

Acontecerá entre os dias 29 de fevereiro a 3 de março, nas cidades de Cachoeira e São Félix, a terceira edição do Festival de Intervenções Artísticas do Recôncavo (FIAR 3). Reunindo artistas e coletivos para interagirem com a paisagem histórica e cultural da região. A programação conta com bate-papos, intervenções, encenações, cobertura colaborativa, apresentações e oficinas, com artistas e grupos independentes de diferentes partes do país. Sendo que as atividades do FIAR 3 estão relacionadas com os diferentes processos das cidades sedes. Segundo Tininha Llanos, curadora do festival:

Fiar é fazer rede, e o FIAR 3 se propõe como um festival de intervenções, no qual os residentes compõem e articulam redes artísticas em suas localidades. Esses grupos têm um mapeamento de coletivos e artistas individuais em seus territórios de origem. Assim, cabe ao FIAR ser um espaço de encontro de redes, com o objetivo de construir um contexto mais amplo de produção e circulação artística.

O hype do hacker versus ativismo hacker

No dia 20 de janeiro a internet foi tomada por uma série de ações distribuídas contra outras séries de ações que estão tentando limitar a liberdade das redes. A autoria dessas ações foi assinada pelo grupo

Anonymous. Conversei com João Caribé, do MegaNão, sobre o hype hacker que sonda alguns coletivos e que às vezes se distancia da construção coletiva e colaborativa.

Durante a ação contra os sites fechados, e a polêmica do Mega Upload, você declarou que estava mudando sua opinião em relação ao Anonymous. O que te levou a isso?

Caribé - Na verdade nunca foi efetivamente "contra" o Anonymous, apenas não opinava a respeito, mas no dia 20 eles foram efetivos. Observando as ações vi que eles estavam apenas fazendo ações de DDOs e não vandalismo, o que não afeta o valor das ações deles. É importante ressaltar que o Anomymous é uma ideia, e não um grupo efetivamente, mas mesmo assim, no Brasil surgiram perfis e grupos que se identificam como Anonymous Brasil que ao menos seguem a mesma linha. Por outro lado, não podemos deixar de citar os LulzSec e seus "comparsas" o iPiratesGroup e o LulzSecBrazil que na verdade atuam como mercenários digitais, atacando efetivamente, inclusive com defacing de sites em busca de visibilidade, mas com foco no fomento de fatos para a tramitação de projetos e leis severas como o Ai5 Digital.leia mais >>

Raquel Rennó no Bailux

Raquel Rennó pesquisa coisas muuito legais e atualmente está no Bailux. Raquel trabalhou durante três anos no MediaLab Madrid, atual MediaLab Prado, também colaborou com centros como Arteleku no País Basco, Hangar em Barcelona, além de outros pequenos centros na Catalunya e no ZZZINC em Barcelona.

Tive oportunidade de entrevistá-la em 2010, quando trabalhava para o Ministério da Cultura junto com o Felipe Fonseca na pesquisa de Laboratórios Experimentais.
