Marcelo Braz compartilhou a dica de uma amiga cicloativista sobre como usar a energia gerada em bicicletas para carregar aparelhos celulares. A thread acabou derivando para um vídeo sobre os sons que o mar faz e como é possível capturar energia das ondas.

A organização do Simpósio Hipertexto lançou no dia 23 de agosto o Prêmio Artes Digitais e Aplicativos Educacionais, que engloba as categorias Aplicativo Educacional (software) e Arte Digital Educativa. As inscrições vão até o dia 05 de outubro, no site do simpósio.

Xs 2 primeirxs colocadxs receberão uma premiação em dinheiro além de hospedagem, em Recife, durante o 4º Simpósio Hipertexto e Tecnologias na Educação, que acontecerá entre 13 a 15 de novembro na Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE).

O objetivo é incentivar a produção de aplicativos (applets) educacionais e estimular a exposição de obras de arte digital voltadas à educação. Podem concorrer projetos nas áreas literária, plástica, fotográfica e cinematográfica, mediados por dispositivos computacionais como desktops, laptops, tablets ou smartphones.

Ainda sobre concursos, em parceria com as Universidades Federais a Positivo lançou um concurso para aplicativos da Positivo. Sendo que os autores das melhores ideias poderão tornar-se parceiros da Positivo na comercialização (você quer isso?!) da ideia. As inscriçőes estão abertas até 15 de setembro.
