Felipe Cabral abriu uma thread na lista para compartilhar informações sobre "vídeo no Linux", envolvendo performance gráfica em sistemas e hardware, e edição (programas, configurações, tutoriais e cases).

 

Aqui no Coletivo Digital a gente montou um Estúdio Livre grande, para audio e vídeo. Em audio a gente tem alcançado uma performance muito profissional, mas em vídeo a gente ainda está enfrentando muitas questões.

 

Recentemente montamos a seguinte ilha de edição de vídeo:

*Mother Board -> ASUS P8H67-M PRO *Processador i5-2310 2.90ghz x 4
*Placa de vídeo: uma placa da nvidia GTX 570 (a nova geração de placas da nvidia), da msi (modelo twin frozen power)
*Memória Ram: kit da corsair ddr3 de 2 pentes de 4gb, totalizando 8 gb
* Hd: 1 hd ssd sata 2 de 120 gb da ocz para instalar o sistema. Ele está com ubuntu 12.04 64bits
* Hd de dados e backup -> 2 hds de 2 tb da seagate 7200 rpm com 32 mb de cache
