Os Lagos de Claudia e Lúcio

Abre no dia 13 de março, terça-feira, às 19 horas, no Museu de Fotografia Cidade de Curitiba (a.k.a Centro Cultural Solar do Barão) a exposição 5Lagos de Claudia Washington e Lúcio de Araújo. 5Lagos traz arquivos de áudio, vídeo, fotografia e textos captados durante 30 dias no mês de janeiro de 2010.

 

Lúcio e Claudia se propuseram a explorar um espaço de intenso fluxo humano, gerado pela condição de fronteira, pela instalação da Usina Hidrelétrica de Itaipu e pela criação de uma zona de livre comércio no Paraguai. Consideraram o caminhar por esse lugar enquanto experiência crítica e perceptiva, levando em conta o potencial simbólico do lago/fronteira como ambiente para o desencadeamento de situações de contato. A abordagem curatorial considera o recorte conceitual a partir da natureza dos registros e das situações que os geraram, delimitando-os assim: Anunciación; Vila C; Travessia; Outras Palavras; e Rádio Marangatu.

"Nós Robôs" no Garoa Hacker Clube

Acontecerá dia 14 de março, às 19h30, na Casa da Cultura Digital sede do Garoa Hacker Clube, a primeira reunião do grupo de robótica "Nós Robôs". A intenção é criar um grupo aberto para desenvolvimento, uso, brincadeira e conhecimento sobre robótica. Segundo Cláudio Miklós:

 

O maior objetivo é criar um ambiente independente de instituições e empresas aonde as pessoas possam fazer seus projetos, sem compromissos, do mais simples robô até projetos com arte e tecnologia.

Aline foi convidada pelo Mutirão e também postou o texto no seu blog.

 

Que a internet é “um espaço voltado à informação, à difusão de músicas e demais obras criativas e à propagação de ideias” não é novidade para ninguém. Até o Ecad (Escritório Central de Arrecadação e Distribuição) reconheceu isso no texto “Esclarecimentos sobre videos embedados do YouTube”, publicado na página inicial do seu site.

A questão veio à tona após a cobrança de R$ 352,59 mensais em direitos autorais do blog independente de design Caligrafitti, o que gerou grande discussão na rede esta semana, inclusive no exterior. O site, que não possui fins lucrativos, costuma “embedar”, quer dizer, inserir, videos em suas publicações online que foram originalmente postados em repositórios como o Youtube e o Vimeo – assim como toda a blogosfera o faz.leia mais >>

Os CRC's de Recife por Iuri Martins

Iuri Martins replicou Isaac Filho e trouxe outras perspectivas sobre os programas de inclusão digital no Ceará.

 

Vou falar sobre os computadores que foram enviados para a Casa Brasil Granja Portugal em Fortaleza-CE do Centro de Recondicionamento de Computadores do Recife (CRC). Se o texto começar a incomodar, leia os últimos parágrafos primeiro. Não sei se enviaram uma documentação ou se a pessoa que recebeu ela não apareceu lá para mostrar isso na hora em que os computadores precisarem ser utilizados. De qualquer forma a pessoa que foi fazer isso teve que instalar um sistema de servidor novamente pois não sabia as senhas do administrador.
