A tecnologia para inclusão de cada pessoa - Uma conversa com Hudson

Hudson Augusto, 37 anos, trabalha em uma penitenciária de Sorocaba-SP. É ativista em temas que envolvem Inclusão Digital e atua em projetos para pessoas com deficiência. Ele já apareceu bastante por aqui, no MutGamb...

Atualmente Hudson está desenvolvendo um projeto de "criação de um ranking de sites acessíveis" e tem trabalhado na divulgação da importância da acessibilidade web para as pessoas com deficiência. Nessa época de releituras do passado e esboços de novos futuros, ele comentou um pouco suas atuais perspectivas.

 

Sua vida mudou bastante nesses últimos anos por conta dos trabalhos sobre acessibilidade. Como isso começou?

Hudson - Sim, há seis anos quis criar um laboratório de Inclusão Digital em uma escola de Educação Especial (onde o meu filho Wesley estudava). Então comecei a estudar as tecnologias que poderiam ser úteis neste projeto. Ao mesmo tempo, percebi que a Universidade na qual cursava o curso de Sistemas de Informação desconhecia essas tecnologias. Vi isso como uma oportunidade de aprendizado teórico e prático sobre a importância da acessibilidade no meio tecnológico das pessoas.
