O MutGamb já tinha publicado aqui sobre o Flisol que aconteceria em Guarulhos. Felipe Cabral enviou na lista Metareciclagem um vídeo de Jesus Linux, gravado durante o evento:

Neste vídeo Jesulino Alves fala sobre os desafios da democratização do debate em torno do Software Livre e sobre a distribuição Guarux, uma distro GNU/Linux desenhada para atender as demandas de inclusão digital da cidade de Guarulhos e região.

Marcus Egito: telecentros, software livre e gambiarras

Marcos Egito, 33, mora no bairro de João Paulo II, em Camaragibe - uma cidade da região metropolitana do Recife. Hoje trabalha como educador social de software livre, no Centro Marista circuito jovem do Recife. "Estava fazendo Sistemas de Informação, mas tranquei o curso e vou fazer pedagogia!", comenta.

Também já trabalhou nos Trapeiros de Emaús, uma organização não governamental internacional que  trabalha com pessoas que não possuem acesso ao emprego formal. "Nos Trapeiros de Emaús passei  doze anos, fiz parte da diretoria. Começamos um curso de informática com as sucatas de computadores que recebíamos, fiz parte da comissão de jovens, representei a instituição no conselho do meio ambiente em Camaragibe. Foi lá que tive contato com Software livre, passei a participar do GUD-PE (grupo de usuários Debian).Tínhamos uma parceria com Banco do Brasil e fazíamos manutenção de Telecentros, diz".

Atualmente, Marcos trabalha no Centro de Recondicionamento de Computares (CRC) Recife, participa do Grupo de Usuários Python de Pernambuco (Pug-PE), da Robótica Livre, além de ser educador e militante de Softwar Livre, e voluntário de algumas instituições.leia mais >>

Ocuppy Rio, no dia 5 de maio

‎Bruno Tarin compartilhou uma atividade do 12M que acontecerá no próximo dia 5 de maio, às 16 horas, na Praça Agripino Grieco, no Rio de Janeiro.

 

É o primeiro de uma série de chamados globais no ano, onde manifestantes em todo o planeta sincronizam suas agendas e propõem atividades conjuntas em praças públicas em seus locais de origem. No Rio de Janeiro, uma das iniciativas foi sair da região central/turística e produzir o encontro no bairro do Meier, criando novos polos multiplicadores de ocupações pela cidade.
