A estética da gambiarra está em todos lugares. Podemos nos ater às gambiarras do dia a dia, na gambiarra cotidiana daquele que precisa extrair do que tem algo que ele está precisando e não tem dinheiro ou não está a fim de comprar ou não está a fim de pagar por. Gambiarra também sugere Liberdade no agir - liberdade para criar e testar situações / soluções independentemente da duração... a estética para essas soluções não está embalada nas prateleiras, mas está à disposição quando nos propomos a fazer junto (por vários motivos) e na maioria das vezes, porque não há $$ pra se fazer "como deveria"....

Linkania na Livraria Cultura em SP

Acontecerá no dia 13 de julho, na Livraria Cultura da Avenida Paulista das 19 hs às 21h30m o lançamento do livro LInkania; uma teoria de redes, de Hernani Dimantas aka hdhd. Segundo ele o livro ¨ tem muito a ver com as redes de conversas que vivenciamos nesses últimos 10 anos".

Toque do Tambor - Série de MicroMetragens Outono 2010

Sob o conceito de "O Estado da Gambiarra" a sequência de filmes batizada como "Toque do Tambor" criada por Teia Camargo e Raphael Albuquerque é uma homenagem ao vídeo-artista Geraldo Anhaia Mello.

Pelo contexto proporcionado pelas obras de Geraldo Anhaia Mello*, tomamos seu conceito como referência para os Micrometragens de Outono do Mutirão da Gambiarra.
Melhor do que falar de Geraldo, é remoer e materializar essa referência que aqui coube em "pequenos videos". Uma referência que se traduz em uma incessante reflexão - ação por meio de ações que permitem troca, para que possamos sempre inventar e compartilhar informações e contextos que interfirem criticamente onde se faz necessário.

Guilherme Maranhão em vídeo para Gambiologia

A indústria vende uma idéia de que para a produção de uma imagem deve ser usado o equipamento mais moderno possível. Obsolescência programada. O fato é que equipamentos e materiais velhos, mofados, quebrados continuam sendo potenciais geradores de imagens, cabe a gente ignorar a mensagem da indústria e gerar imagens com eles.

* Guilherme Maranhão foi um dos convidados para o encontro sobre Gambiarra em 04/07/2010. Gostou muito da proposta, mas não poderia participar pois viajaria nessa data. Mesmo assim enviou um vídeo que revela a estética e temática de seu trabaalho, batizado de "Refotografia".
