Vídeo sobre lixo eletrônico concorre ao Claro Curtas

Utilizando lixo eletrônico recebido no MetaProjeto do Parque da Juventude, em São Paulo, o coletivo audiovisual Cinestésicos fez o curta metragem "O Ser e a Náusea". Segundo o Lucas, um dos autores da proposta, o vídeo é  "uma experiência, tudo improvisado e rápido". A criação dos Cinestésicos esta concorrendo ao Claro Curtas.

Na próxima sexta-feira, dia 05 de março, às 14:30h, a Mariel Zasso (a.k.a Mariwell ) apresenta e convida a Rede para conferir o resultado da sua pesquisa acadêmica, sua dissertação de mestrado. "Quem estiver em São Paulo, e tiver vontade de conhecer esse meu percurso, junte-se à nós para uma cerveja ao cair da tarde. Aguardem para breve o pdf. Até sexta!"


Título do trabalho: Simpatia: notas para aventuras teóricas.
Banca: Annita Costa Malufe e Alexandre Henz.
Local: PUC, Rua Monte Alegre, em Perdizes.
A sala ainda não foi divulgada, mas costumam afixar um cartaz com essa informação no mural ao lado da secretaria de teses, no quarto andar do prédio "novo", no dia da defesa.

MetaReciclagem na TEIA 2010

No mês de janeiro desse ano a Mari Piazolla tinha me convidado para participar da TEIA 2010 para falar um pouco da MetaReciclagem, eu topei, claro. Mas, na hora, surgiu um imprevisto-impeditivo para eu ir. Assim, a  Sília e o Gera foram em meu lugar.

Seguem os relatos deles, e nossos agradecimentos à Mari pela oportunidade.

 

"Da Cultura Digital a Cultura de Colaboração: Tudo que você sempre quis perguntar sobre Software Livre e nunca Teve coragem. Esse é o nome da oficina que demos, Silia Moan e Gera Rocha, sábado, 27 de fevereiro, no Teia São Paulo, 2010, realizada na cidade de Guarulhos.

Havia uma precisão de mais ou menos 12 pessoas para assistir a apresentação que faríamos e foi em cima dessa estimativa que nos organizamos. Separamos alguns dos principais grupos que se utilizam de Software Livre e colaboração - comunidade do Software GIMP, a comunidade do sistema operacional UBUNTU BR, MetaReciclagem e o coletivo Estúdio Livre - para serem apresentados e ilustrar nossas respostas.

A primeira atividade que fizemos foi um geo-referenciamento dos Pontos de Cultura, feito pelos próprios integrantes dos pontos; um momento pensado para que todos se sentissem a vontade para se expressar, o que seria fundamental para a segunda parte da oficina: perguntarem sem medo todas suas dúvidas sobre Software Livre e colaboração.

"Lawrence Lessig, considerado uma das principais vozes do movimento de cultura livre, vai falar sobre uso justo, política e vídeo online da Harvard Law School, em Cambridge, Massachusetts. Uma conversa sobre copyright na era digital, e o papel (e importância) de um conjunto de “regras” de uso justo.
