Mutsaz Verão 2010

O Núcleo Editorial Mutirão da Gambiarra lança hoje 22 de março, na entrada do outono, mais um  MutSaz. A publicação construída colaborativamente agrega a produção da Rede MetaReciclagem dos meses de dezembro, janeiro e fevereiro.

Leilão Festivo do Acervo Mariah Leick

Acontecá no próximo sábado, 20 de marco, um leilão festivo das obras do acervo Mariah Leick.

Mariah foi uma das responsáveis por ter iniciado, em 2003, um processo de encontros dentro da ocupação Prestes Maia que uniu artistas, militantes e famílias sem-teto em uma grande mobilização artística e ativista chamada Integração Sem Posse.

 

 

Além das obras expostas, estão programados DJ´s, VJ´s, performances, vídeo- instalação interativa e a presença de grande parte dos colaboradores do projeto.  O dinheiro arrecadado será direcionado para o tratamento e gastos pessoais de Mariah Leick, diagnosticada com câncer.

Chamadas para Submidialogia em Arraial d' Ajuda

Acontecerá entre os dias 29 de abril a 05 de maio, em Arraial d' Ajuda no Esporo Bailux mais uma das  três edições de 2010 do festival Submidialogia, sendo as outras duas  Valadares e Mirinzal.

O Submidialogia acontece desde 2006 e sempre conta com a participação das redes e coletivos que praticam mídia tática, livre e independente do Brasil e do mundo. É um projeto crítico multidisciplinar de arte, mídia e tecnologia participativas, de cujo processo artístico todos os agentes envolvidos, comunidade, teóricos, artistas ativistas e público, tomam parte. Através da realização de diferentes formas de oficinas e interações (convivências filosóficas, choques elétricos, intervenções cotidianas), do resgate de relatos orais e da criação de mecanismos de exposições dentro e fora das comunidades, o projeto busca equipar seus participantes com recursos para que falem de suas especulações, estudos avançados, práticas e que reflitam, através da experiência criativa, um pouco desta identidade conturbada pela velocidade da transformação econômico-social.

Em 2010 os debates, exposições, oficinas e outras atividades envolvem os temas: futuro sustentável para nós, nossas crianças e as nações indígenas.

Vinil Bass MetaReciclado

Ricardo Brazileiro acaba de disponibilizar na rede o "Metrobang: Vinil Bass Sequencer Vintage". Uma instalação que captura e resignifica as frequencias e ruídos de um toca disco, traduzindo as informações numa sequência de sínteses de baixo e síntese granular.

O toca-disco, equipamentos popularizados em meados de 1970,  foi adaptado com eletropiezos para capturar os sons da agulha e processar o sinal de audio utilizando o software livre Pure-Data. O áudio do experimento encontra-se disponível aqui.


"Passei um tempo dando uma pesquisada num toca-disco que tinha comprado numa sucata aqui em Recife e acabei montando uma adaptação no braço, adicionando um electropiezo para capturar as frequências da agulha e gerar uma síntese de baixo e granular em tempo-real com os dados", comenta Brazileiro.
